It takes quite a lot of colour picking/time. But usually it helps if i make some kind of gradient of the colours I want to blend so that I can choose colours easily. c:
It has all of my options on both my photoshop brush and my Sai brush. <3

Awesome tutorial. I'm going to try this style, sometime!
It makes doing anything with pixels a lot easier because of the precision. There's less cleanup needed while doing things like line art, so it generally feels nicer to work with.
When I want to play with my colours, I switch over to Photoshop because of the tools I can use to switch them around easily. c:
